My Sister is Here!

Audrey Claire Olsen, my sister, is here!  She is very cute, with blond hair and blue eyes (mommy and daddy say she looks just like me).  She was born, apparently rather quickly, on June 26th at 11:02 am at Tacoma General Hospital.  She weighed in at 6 lbs. 12 oz. and is 19 inches long.  She is healthy and doing great!  She even does well drinking mommy's wawa (water) when she is thirsty.  Mommy says it's milk but I like to call it wawa!  I like Audrey so far and especially like to kiss the top of her head!  I think she will make a great little sister and I can't wait to introduce all of you to her real soon.  Love, BIG brother Cameron

No Audrey yet!

Well, no Audrey yet!!  It's her due date today and mommy, daddy and I are still waiting for her to come.  I got to go to the doctors today with mommy and daddy and meet Dr. Neff.  He is a cool guy!  He let me sit in his round, round chair, look out the window at the motorcycle in the parking lot (vroom, vroom) sit with mommy on the bed, hear Audrey's heart beat and see her on the television via ultrasound!  Dr. Neff says that we don't have to worry about a boy name because she is a she for sure!  I saw the pictures, he-he!  I'll be sure to let you know when she gets here.  ~Cameron 

An Afternoon at the Beach!

Well, mommy and daddy keep telling me that Audrey is coming soon but she is not here yet (I'm not sure if they know what they are talking about)!  Anyway, I suggested that while we "wait" we should take a trip to the beach...so we did!  I enjoyed throwing rocks into the water and making a BIG splash and I liked looking for crabs under different rocks (I did not find too many though).  We had a good time and whenever Audrey gets here we can bring her down to the beach too.  I think I want to show her how to throw rocks and dig in the sand, yes dig in the sand that is fun!!

Still Waiting!

Well, today I'm 39 weeks along and still waiting!  Last night I thought I was starting labor and heading for home base...not so much!  The 6 hours of fairly good contractions stopped and that was that!  The doctor and I predict Friday?!?  Let's hope so, that way Dr. Neff can deliver Audrey (apparently he likes to take weekends off, the nerve)!  Anyway, all is well and I'll keep you posted as always!  ~Jeannette

Got Cheese?

Yesterday mommy was not quick enough with the sandwich making process and so I helped myself.  She was too busy taking pictures and laughing as far as I see it. Sometimes I'm not so sure what is so funny, I was just hungry!  Cheese is yummy and eating by the block is the quickest and most easiest way to do so!  Got Cheese Block anyone?   ~Cameron

Welcome!

Welcome to Our Family blog!  We hope that you enjoy our site as it is updated often with new photos, stories and our family happenings.  

Cameron is getting so big and soon will look like a giant compared to his little sister. He is two now and enjoying life to the fullest.  His latest adventure involved going to the Harley Davidson shop with Grandpa Dennis and riding every last bike!  He continues to ask about Grandpa and makes a vroom, vroom sound just like the bikes did.  We think he wants to go again Grandpa?!?  

The waiting continues as we anticipate a smooth and quick delivery of our baby girl, Audrey! She is due on June 24th and so our countdown has begun.  As of last week nothing is happening. We will find out on Tuesday if there are any changes and let you know.  Contractions continue to happen. However, they are the "fake" kind as we see it and are doing nothing!  We will quickly update you all as soon as she gets here. 

We can't wait for you all to meet the newest edition to Our Family!
